Katie Stewart has always had a passion and love
for acting. She began playing dramatic roles in school plays
early in life and continued to pursue her dreams.
She played a waitress in “How You Look to Me”
with award-winning actor Frank Langella and (4400’s)
Laura Allen, giving Stewart a taste of what a big film set
was like. This only left her hungry for more of what Hollywood
had to offer.
For her breakout role, Katie teamed up with award-winning
writer/producer, Craig Everett Earl and award-winning director,
Dru Pfeiffer for “Intrusion”. She read for the
title role of the dramatic and very physical role of Holly
Jensen. Both her and "Intrusion" was praised by
critics and fans. It was apparent that with her immediate
ability to memorize lines and show huge acting range, this
was what she was meant to do.
Katie went on to work on film projects "Hell-Ephone"
and "Requiem for the Fallen" with horror icons Ari
Lehman ('Friday the 13th'), Tony Moran (John Carpenter's 'Halloween')
and John Dugan (Tobe Hooper's 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre').
Not long after she was asked to sign onto "Dead Moon
Rising 2" to play the zombie killing character Scout,
with award winning actress, Sebrina Seigel and Jason Crowe.
The movie was a sequel that drew a lot of attention for it's
Guinness Book of World Records for the most zombies in a film
award.
Soon after she was noticed by well-known producers The Booth
Brothers of Lions Gate’s “Death Tunnel”.
She teamed up to become the radio personality for “Spooked
TV” and other television shows for the Sci-Fi channel
and Tru Tv’s network.
Now that Katie had accomplished her dream of acting in films,
she took time out to do something many actors consider to
be even more difficult. She went back to her roots, by starring
as the lead in the sold out stage-play “Dancing with
Dani”.
Upon returning to film, Stewart went on to star in “The
Legacy” with TNA wrestler Al Snow.
Along the way she has also starred in many national commercials,
including Sylvan University and several music videos.
Not taking much time to rest she shows her commitment to
being one of the hardest working celebrities in the business.
She continues to keep working with films like "Overtime"
"Primate" and "Soup Kitchen" wrapping
this year.
And next year she is scheduled to begin work on "Window
with a View" and the award winning "Intrusion 2:
Disconnected" with scream queen, Tiffany Shepis attached
and other horror icons in talks.
Currently Katie works as a radio personality for the Den
of Radio show in her spare time.
