You know I saw it in theaters and the 3D was really impressive, so I was really concerned as to how it would transfer. Well I found that as long as you have the colors & contrast properly adjusted the 3D on the BD is surprisingly good. I'd have to say it's the best 3D I've ever seen in my home!

Yesterday picked up Ghostbusters BD which is a must own for anyone, there is NO reason not to pick this up, $20 a wal-mart best I've found.
Also got the Twilight Zone movie too, classic!
Another I got last week was Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete, well if you saw it on DVD it time to see it again, they've changed so much of the movie, including adding new scene altogether, it's a whole new movie & it looks simply amazing! It will change most people's opinions of this flick, how it was intended to be seen, highly recommended!!!

I got this sent to me. As far as I can tell all the special features are the same as the DVD. It's annoying too because all the behind the scenes are broken down into probably twenty different clips as apposed to one long documentary.

I would rate the Blu-ray a 3/5. The movie is good but everything else felt like an after thought.

What was the price on it, out of curiosity? I had that "Transformers" imported from the UK. Cost me $33. A guy on the BD forums came across 10 copies in a little shop and snatched them up, sold them at cost. They're loooooong OOP.

I do too. Better than the DVD cover where everyone's just posing infront of a gasping mouth. It's the Australian release, Region ABC. Got it for $21/shipped, and I'm really stoked. The trilogy is available in Germany, but IIRC, it's Region B locked, and even if it was Region Free, "Scream" is the edited TV version.

I can’t explain why, but I have been a sucker for Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy bundles for the past few months. I picked up The Final Destination today for $20 at Best Buy and I’m embarrassed to say it had something to due with my perceived value of the bundle coupled with the “limited time only” 3D glasses. I have the glasses from other recent 3D movies so that probably shouldn’t have mattered. The pressure was really amplified by the fact that there was only two copies with the bundle/glasses and a dozen copies of the Blu-ray only. Damn marketing!

Yeah, DVDs are 1,2,3, or 0 (Free). Blus are A, B, C, or ABC (Free). Usually, US & Canada are Region 1 or Free, as are select UK, depending on the distributor.

Just picked up Surrogates with Bruce Willis. I really loved this movie bought it without watching it first. I liked it so much i watched both documentaries on the special features. After that i watched it with the directors commentary. Which was a great insight into the film. I dont do that very often so it was a great buy and it looks great on Blu Ray.
