I hate to brag, but I have a jaw.

how could he hate the waterboy?

I can't fault him for The Waterboy. Not a film that I ever understood any attraction to. But The Usual Suspects is the one on the list that stood out most for me. Hell, it even ranks #25 on imdb.com's top 250 films. I can understand if he didn't like it - hell, we all have films that we don't like that everyone else does (The Dark Knight, Mr. Pscyhobillyjekyll?), but absolutely hating it? That I don't understand.

Yeah, yeah, I admit it, I can't get over Bale's "Batman" voice, it ruins the entire franchise for me (well, all the ones he's in).

It all fairness to Roger Ebert, most of the movies you mentioned in your article aren't great movies by any means. I see your point about Usual Suspects though. But even then, I didn't get a huge boner for that film like most people did.
