Xbox 360 pwns Ps3

Ok I hear almost every episode Fearshop suck on the ps3 schlong and hate on Xbox 360. I own both systems for several years now and I can say without a doubt that Xbox 360 is a much superior system. Not only the exclusive titles are much better - Halo, Gears of War etc.. but Xbox live is way better than psfree online. Its smoother, much easier to connect with friends plus you can have netflix parties with your friends. My ps3 would be collecting dust if it wasnt an awesome blu ray player. Thats my 2 cents at least. I mainly made this post to piss off the Fearshop crew. :D

I love when people shit on the 360 because of the red ring of death. Yeah, it was a bad design, but I fixed my red ring myself for less than $10 and havent had a problem since. The PS3 is so great that they have to wait an extra month for every Call of Duty map pack. Even when you look at the new wave of gaming in the form of hands free controlled games, Xbox is still the only platform where you dont need any controller. Suck it PS3

Oh, it's on. You want a PS3 vs. Microshit XBox 360 war? You got it. What's with the red ring of death? Why do you people put up with it as if it is not a big deal? Hell, I was at a party a couple of months ago and the kids had to stop playing the 360 because my brother-in-law said that it was starting to overheat and the last time that happened, they had to send it in to get repaired. I could not believe it.

Listen, I hear you. It is not a horrible system, but it is the weaker of the two by far as far as hardware goes. I have no issues with their titles and the early map-pack releases. I love the idea of the Netflix parties. I understand that the online system is better for the 360, but I am not a huge social gamer, so it does nothing for me. I like to play with friends that I know. My friends list is actually really small on the PS3 network and I like it that way.

BYW, did I even mention the Blu-ray player yet?

I was a hardcore XBOX fanboy from 2001 to 2008. So much that I was an XBOX Live Beta tester. I’ve seen the XBOX shift from a gamer’s console to a mainstream device designed to nickel and dime you to death. My fandom completely died with the “New XBOX Experience” (aka Avatars). I play games on both my XBOX360 and PS3 but I respect and love my PS3. The XBOX dashboard looks like a child’s toy covered in ads. The PS3 is sexy and respects that I’m an adult. I still love my Halo, I just wish it wasn’t trapped in a Fisher Price toy.

Oh and acheivements are for suckers. They used to mean something until M$ mis-managed it. Now I couldn't give a shit about achievements.

I'd rather be without my XBOX for a month than my PS3 for one day.

Got my PS3 at launch & I love it, been a great system now for going on 5 years, I've never owned an XBOX or a 360, never had any desire what-so-ever & you know what, I feel like a better person because of it. Got a Wii too, that rarely gets any use, I'm a Sony-loyalist & I don't mind admitting it. Everyone can have whatever game system they want, but Playstation has been the one for me for over a decade now!!!

I used to be a playstation guy until the PS3 came out and they wanted me to pay over $600 for a system. Thats when I said **** Sony. 360 came out a little later and I only had to drop a little over $300. So why can one system do it and another cant? Its because Sony is a company of greedy ****s so I dont buy shit from them anymore. Correction, I have one pair of noise cancelling headphones by them that I use when working outside, but when Im not, Im using my Beats headphones. I have nothing Sony anymore. Every device they make is overrated.

Now I also might give the nod to the 360 because of something Mike mentioned earlier. He doesnt play much online stuff from what I gather. I wont buy a game if it doesnt have good multiplayer features. So, being someone that focuses on online gaming, I stick with the system with the best online community.

Oh yeah, Crikan mentioned avatars. Doesnt Playstation also have some shitty thing similar? Isnt it called Home or something?

Microsoft did it by removing important features that the PS3 included. The price difference between a fully functional 360 and PS3 hasn’t been that great when you consider the 360 wireless adapter was $100 and the online functionality was $50 yearly. I spent more the first day I bought a 360 than I did when I bought a PS3.

Avatars are mandatory and are clearly visible on your dashboard. I’ve never launched the PS3 Home. My beef with Avatars is that Microsoft turned the entire 360 dashboard into a family friendly kids toy. The PS3 interface looks like its made for adults.
