City of Men

how much does it have to do with city of god?

that's the only reason i haven't watched it, is cause i was scared it wouldn't be on par with city of god

Considered a sequel really because it was directed by the same person responsible for City of God, it doens't hold a candle to City of God which is one of the best movies of the past 10 years.

I would be interested in your take on Eden Lake. As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I viewed it about a year ago and it didn't turn my crank.

I've seen less than 5 movies on that list. Blade Runner is an easy pick for me. But only watch it if you have the Final Cut and you are watching it on a large and beautiful HD screen.

Being John Malkovich is the weirdest movie I've ever seen. I'm not sure if I loved it or hated it. It was a train wreck but not necessarily in a bad way.

I really hate Being John Malkovich, but then again my ex-wife used to watch it all the time so....

The Mutant Chronicles was some good dumb fun, my type of flick, take that for what it's worth.

When I was talking Film Studies in University, I had to watch Blade Runner 12 times over a two day period. I can't stomach it now which is unfortunate.

I had to know it backwards and forwards for a presentation and thesis.

I literally went frame by frame. And this is before DVD's.

Painstaking.

Good. It's been a while since I last watched it. Strange film, but a very good one.

If you find your copy, you should see it. It's one of my favorite films.
