View Full Version : Just finished watching the bluray episodes 3-5 set and WTF?!!

So I know there have been many changes over the years and many have made my sigh and laugh because they are (for the most part) pointless and ridiculous. I was never a huge fan so I didnt take it to heart, but one scene really offended me more then the rest.
The most offensive change in my opinion is THE SARLACC pit. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT ???? Maybe I hit me harder cause I knew about the other changes...I dont know it almost makes me not want to own that blu ray. Just a quick rant. Anyway im really catching the star wars fever..any good podcast :mad:?

They changed the Sarlac pit back in the 90s for that special edition.

The changes he made to the Sarlaac Pit kinda ruins the Bounty Hunters Tales book a bit. Theres a great Boba Fett short story in there and it just seems ridiculous the way the pit is formed now.

the sarlac change never made sense but neither did anything else they decided to change. especially replacing the ewok song at the end of jedi....cunts

This didn't fly with me either. I groaned out loud when I heard this.

ya since it came out in '98ish i just turn down the volume at the end and sing the Jub Jub song myself....after all this time im finally getting good at the high notes at the end

Yea both the end song and the one at jabbas pissed me off. Horrible. Might have to check the convention circuit and see if I can get a copy of the dvds with out the changes

The new celebration song is one of the few changes I like. I used to turn the volume down when the jub jub started.
