My ears hurt! It was almost three hours (including trailers and commericals) of loud loud loudness.

Was it better than the first? Yeah. I liked it. It was more of the same just bigger and louder. Don't know the characters too well as I am not a transformers geek, but DAMN!...Michael Bay can put on a show.

2. Are there as many "kid" moments, like in the first movie when the transformers are stomping on the rose bushes?

It was 150 minutes. Add the trailers and the commercials and we were in our seats for a butt numbing 3 hours. Luckily, they serve beer in theatres in Toronto.

Question 2: Yeah, there are plenty of kid type moments again. They are forgettable though as it took you bringing it up for me to remember them. Too much goes BOOM to care.

Question 3: Fox is Foxy. Damn. And I saw this in IMAX. The floor wasn't sticky just because of the popcorn butter if you know what I mean.

Question 4: Ahhh, no. Shia doesn't show his cock. Sorry, but you will just have to tell your prison pin cushion brother to rent Trangenders 2: Rise of the Shia

I'm so sick of people hating on this movie. Urgh.. why does everyone go see it if all the want to do is bitch about it? Like they don't know what they're getting themselves into.

Last night I was at the theater with my husband and had the chance to see this movie in Imax and passed. I give the first movie a 3 out of 5 so I don't think it is worth the $ to see the sequel in the theater, I am waiting for the Blu-ray.

I came out of this movie thinking I had just really wasted three hours of my time.

Admittedly, I didn't grow up watching the cartoons or playing with the toys, but I actually enjoyed the first movie. This one was like the first, only Bay inflated it with quantity instead of quality (which is not surprising for him). The out-of-place forced humor really tipped the scales in the wrong direction for me.

Transformers 2 was not so much a movie as a series of demo scenes for Best Buy to use when showing off their flat panel TVs. I never thought I could be so bored with so much action.
