Anyone buying Paranormal Activity on Blu-ray?

The only special features is an alternate ending. How fucking weak. They're not getting my 20 bucks!

Hell no. I could barely sit still the first time.

For fans, be prepared to double dip if you buy this version. I can't remember where, but sometime in the past week I read article where the director claimed to have shot hundreds of endings and tons of footage that hasn't been seen yet.

You took my entire response right outta my mouth.
I didn't wanna pay the BD price for nothing extra and I didn't see it benefitting from 1080p at all.

if you notice, in the beginning she looks nice then as the movie goes on her looks decline and by the end of the movie she looks worn out and stuff , i thought it was a nice touch by the director

So if a Demon is causing trouble in your house you would threaten it and call it out? Listen to the wise words of Eddie Murphy; “If there is a ghost in the house, leave”. And don’t be nice to trannies.

ghost you leave and you're all good

"Para-bore-mal Activity" has about as much replay value as "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2", in my household.

I mean, granted, I got SO scared when I saw that Rex from Toy Story must have walked through the baking soda in their bedroom floor. Those tracks were unmistakably his.

Whoops. Was that a spoiler?

Well, here's another one. The movie fucking sucks.

I don't have Blu-ray. That said, I wouldn't get the DVD.
It was good and all, but I think it's one of those movies that makes me feel like once is enough.

I doubt it will be as startling seeing at home as it was in theaters, especially if you've seen it already.

You could make the arguement that Paranormal would not benefit greatly from the Blu-ray quality.

Outside of any speical features, you are likely to get the same quality picture with regular DVD on this one.

This is exactly how I felt, therefore DVD will suffice.

Is this worth buying or is it more of a rent flick? From the sounds of it, it is a one time watch.

just depends....
if you have friends that haven't seen it, its fun watching it with them
i've watched it 3 times on dvd and once in theaters

Well if you're into that sort of thing I think it's good, my wife and I think of it as the Lost Tapes movie, and find it a better home view than theaters.
