I went with the month of darkness, 30 Days of Night.

Great question by the way!

I went with 30 Days of Night as well. I'm not sure you could get a colder location. Plus everyone is constantly running around the town in that movie. At least in The Shining people hang out indoors.

We have GregMO to thank for today's poll. Remember to keep those suggestions coming.

The Shining had more of that cold isolation feeling though. I opt for it.

Although, The Thing could be one as well.

Brrrrrr.....when do I go on my cruise again?

I'll also go with the Shining, but would've preferred the Thing being on the list and where's the other option?

I don't want to be the jerk, but The Thing is my all time favorite movie and 50% of the movie is the climate . . . .

But 30 days of night is the most successful horror movie in 10 - 20 years to successfully make full use out of the climate in a horror movie. Good stuff
