Racisim, Politics, Birthday party, Movies, Comic Books, Comedy, Girls that look like guys but are still hot (maybe) (sometimes) (under the right lighting), uncomfortable conversations, mayhem, bikers, a rock band, a radio dj, a king, naked people... and the list goes on.

If this sums up the first year what is in store for the next year of M.A.G.

I really hit a nerve with this, it seems. Just when I was learning to keep my mouth shut. I'm developing a thesis about this. Swank, Deschanel, that teenager from youtube... There's a pattern going on here.

Seth, you need to know three things.
Dont keep your mouth shut.
Even the prom queen can hide in plain sight, if she wanted.
And dont fuck with the king baby.

Proposal for episode of Movies About Girls, the Podcast, the Sitcom. Episode title: Road Trip

Ken takes an assignment to interview a metal band, Death on a Stick, requiring a lengthy drive to Chicago, and Stacey joins him.

Various interstate hijinks nearly cause Ken to miss making the appointed time for the interview. Among the mishaps -- Ken & Stacey's car breaks down, and they are forced to purchase a used dune buggy with a busted muffler. Though deafeningly loud, the vehicle nevertheless gets them to Chicago by the scheduled time.

Alas, the band stands Ken up.

Mike Fischer: Later that evening.

Ken and Stacey arrive at the club early for the show, parking right in front of the entrance. Their vehicle is so noisy it fills the entire building with a thunderous roar. After a so-so opening act, Death on a Stick arrives and it soon becomes apparent they are as bad as their name. Excruciatingly bad.

Ken: Holy smokes, these guys are horrible.
Stacey: Maybe it was a good thing you didn't interview them.
Ken: The crowd isn't into it.
Stacey: No, they hate 'em.

Ken ponders a moment.

Ken: Let's fuck up the band.
Stacey: How?
Ken: Shit, the dune buggy!

Ken, great show as always. Another very enjoyable episode. Seth, thanks for the BatPussy dedication! That was awesome.

"Sisters in Leather" sounds pretty intriguing. The stills you have up on the website (http://www.moviesaboutgirls.com/2010/01/sisters-in-leather-1969.html) from it look pretty hot. There are few things sexier than naked, 60's bike chicks, in my opinion. Looks like Something Weird (http://www.somethingweird.com) will be getting a few more of my dollars.

In addition, I just wanted to say The Swingin' Neckbreakers (http://www.neckbreakers.com/) are awesome. Go buy one of their records if you don't already own one.

I'm looking forward to the next episode. Star Slammer (http://www.moviesaboutgirls.com/2010/02/star-slammer-1987.html) is on Netflix (http://www.netflix.com) Watch Instantly, so I will be checking that out in preparation. I've never seen it before, but how can you go wrong with Fred Olen Ray? I mean, your podcast could pretty much sustain a whole year on Fred Olen Ray movies alone, am I right?

As always, keep up the good work.

Another fine show.

I really love the way you handled the Lita Ford interview. It was an awesome segment that would have been cringe inducing had Ken been describing her husband's penis and all the great sex they are having. BTW, my wife and I have broken a bed as well. You either buy quality beds or you're doing it wrong. ;)

The Larry the Cable Guy talk really bummed me out. Living in Kansas, I'm surrounded by and related to many Larry fans and Palin supporters. I keep pretty insulated so I typically stay away from that kind of stupidity except for holiday get-togethers or when I make the mistake of watching the local news. With all the genocide, disease and starvation in Africa at least we can applaud Larry for having a topical show. /sarcasm (that bit was soul crushing)

Ken, you sound a bit hurt that no one mentions you when they praise the show. You are looking at it wrong. You are the show, so when the show receives a compliment they are essentially talking about you, the King of Podcasting. You, your co-hosts and contributors put together a great show and website. Thanks

Zac says she figured it out when she got home and had to clean up the rest of the shit. She bought a rug after that.
