Somewhere around the four-hour point, I somehow hung up and then redialed Ken (and the rest of you, apparently). This would have been the second time that I did that. I do remember calling all the girls the first time. I am a technological disaster. And Gore Gore, you have obviously not listened to the last half of the podcast. I am a mess. A silly, boob-fixated mess. But, as I recently wrote to Ken, at least I am not an asshole when I'm drunk.

Yeah, I definitely think this was one of the more memorable podcasts to date, mainly thanks to all the female input. GoreGoreGirl and Holly were crackin' me up.

I think every show at least one cast member should be inebriated. Makes for good radio.

On another note, am I the only one who thought that Mike (Susan Stokey) in Star Slammer looked like a young, pre-plastic surgery Elizabeth Perkins?

Oh, also, FUCKING GREAT music on the show this week! Maybe the best music show yet! The Replacements (one of my all time favorite bands!), Shocking Blue (you're right, they did sound different all the time, but always great), Kim Fowley (total dickhead, but Outrageous is a classic album), Wayne Gibson and Dynamic Sounds (brainchild of genius producer Shel Talmy), The Standells (classic garage rock) and Erotic Biljian and his Heretics (the only band I wasn't familiar with, but sounded cool).

Nice work, Ken! You definitely know how to bring the tunes, sir.

I’m finally to the review portion. The podcast is so long I forget what I want to post before I finish it. Very funny show. Holly needs to get drunk more often. Ken's comment that getting boned by a strap-on “takes commitment" was too funny.


Fiery Furnaces is the worst thing in the history of things. I don’t think you could make something sound that awful on purpose. That took talent..

Turbo Lover might be a gay song but it rocks…hard.
