I was going to send Ken a box of Cuban cigars to share with everyone at the next podcast, as a thank you for putting up with my technological incompetence and drunken goofiness, but after some research, I have discovered that the only way to do this is to take them home with me to Canada, replace the Cuban labels with fake labels, and ship them as a gift. And even then the postal fuckers could interfere and you wouldn't get them. It's a couple of cigars, for chrissake, not a pound of cocaine. I don't know why the States and Cuba can't all just get along. Anyway, no cigars for you. Fucking governments...

There's gotta be something you could bring back that wouldn't be so contraband-y.
Sandwiches?

Yep, I'll send you all some sandwiches in the mail. (Get your order in before I leave on Friday.)

Also some kind of skulls would be good. A pile of skulls.

Monkey in a box, please, Holly. Or a small kid would do if they don't have monkeys. A hairy kid though. Thanks.

From what I understand you’re allowed to take two bottles of Rum, a pound of coffee and fifty cigars out of the country. But beware of buying illegal cigars, (i.e. buying not from official stores) they’re cheaper, but they will, actually, make you sick, and 8 times out of 10, it’ll be a trap by the police meant to bust you and extort your remaining convertible dollars through bribery.
There's all kinds of weird lizards running around Cuba. Scoop up a half dozen of these little bastards off the street while you're down there. They'd make a cool gift.

Customs Officer: Do you have anything to declare, ma'am?
Me: Just a small hairy child in a box, a pile of skulls that I dug up from a local graveyard, a bunch of freaky lizards, and some fine Cuban sandwiches to share with my American friends. That's cool, right?

I love those lizards! They live all around me and I try to make them my friends. The baby ones are unbelievably cute. I could post a pic, but I don't know how to do it without linking a pic from a website. You'll just have to take my word for it.
I was just gonna send Ken and Stacy a big box of porn. That's not quite as exciting as severed heads and cigars, or whatever it was y'all were talking about.

Oh look, I managed it. They puff out those neck things when they're trying to attract another lizard I think. It's super cool.

Nice.
That's the sweet thing about warm climates - skittering lizards.
The only things that skitter in Boston are particularly skinny rats.
