Anyone going to see this movie over the weekend? I'm going to if I can find a way out of the house.

I just can't seem to get interested in that one.
Actually, nothing coming out this weekend interests me, so I'm going to catch The Hangover while it's still around. I'm not a huge fan of mainstream comedy movies, but the trailers look funny and the word-of-mouth has all been positive, so I figure I'll give it a try.

Eh... Sandlers washed up, I have no interest. I can only take so much Seth Rogan and his mule sidekick before I want to stick my dick in a toaster.
Zack and Miri was great though. Kevin Smith ftw.

I saw it, and even though I think Adam Sandler is the worst actor and comic working today, it wasn't so bad. It was 2 1/2 hours in length though. When are they going to get it that comedies cant maintain momentum for that length of time!!!

Two-and-a-half hours? Ouch!
I didn't realize this is a comedy - the trailers have comedy elements of course, but to me it looks more like a dramady.
And yeah, I'm not a Sandler fan to begin with. Loved some of his SNL characters, but five minutes of him was always enough.

I will wait for this to come out on DVD. It's too bad that Adam Sandler can't seem to make a good movie these days.

Wow! I'm surprised to see so much hate for the Sand Man. Apparently a lot of people felt this way because not many people went to see Funny People over the weekend.
I'm still interested though. I like Judd Apatow and even though the movie is getting pegged as a drama I do hear it's pretty funny.
Moundshroud, let us know how you liked The Hangover.
PS - I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry is the best movie ever made!!!

I liked it. It delivered what the trailers promised, consistant laughs with a group of likeable characters in a relatable (if highly exagerated) situation.

I do have to admit, Wedding Singer is one of my all time favorite movies
