I'm sitting on about 130 BD's, started collectin November of last year. I'm super picky about what I get, sad thing is, there's only like 20 titles on my wishlist. So, until they start kicking out older shit, I'm slowing down.

I was surprised by a lot of it. I didn't think you'd own films like 9 Songs, Dumbland, Elephant, Kids, Crossroads (haha, just kidding), Pumpkin, and Schramm. How's Acne? I just added that to my Netflix queue last night.

Fuck "Elephant". I hate that movie with a passion, and this is "State your.." opinion thread worthy, but it was a gayed up, artsy version of what Gus Van Sant thinks happened with Columbine.

No offense if you own it, lol.

Elephant is Van Sant's best film.

Acne was very interesting. I'll give it that.

I own a lot of odd movies because I was great friends with the girl at Tartan. She pretty much sent me everything in her catalog for like two years.

I have Crossroads because Britney was my first love. Now I'm on to Miley. I love these chicks. I get older, but they stay the same age. LOL!! :D

But yeah, I like all sorts of movies. I really like Elephant. I thought it was very interesting.

Elephant is Van Sant's best film.

Respectfully disagree. "Drugstore Cowboy" or "Good Will Hunting" run circles around it, IMO.

I agree with this. I like Elephant, but I think these two are better films. I've seen Good Will Hunting like 20 times.

Is it worth checking out? I have plenty of other movies I can put ahead of it.

I have quite a few Tartan films as well. They closed down, didn't they?

Matthew McConaughey over here^. Yeah, I watched Crossroads years ago when I was really into MST3K and was looking for bad movies to start my own little rehash. This and Battlefield Earth were among the worst.

Drugstore Cowboy is an excellent movie, but I thought Good Will Hunting was pretty overrated. Elephant was just a fantastic character study and overall, an intelligent film. It actually scared me. I like real movies.

No doubt, i would also take "My own Private Idaho" , but Good Will Hunting is an all time favorite
