The TIFF Festival launched yesterday and Killerreviews.com was out on the streets of Toronto in an attempt to get a glimpse and some time with some of the major stars attending the renouned event.
We did get close enough to George Clooney's back to see his perfectly quaffed hair on the back of his head. Unfortunately, he was surrounded and walking faster than a cheetah for us to keep pace.
Two Jonas Brothers were there. But all that proved was that I can't spit as far as I thought I could.
We did see Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany who were attending the premiere of their TIFF lauch film, Creation. Jennifer was taller than we thought and Bettany was...well, who cares. We shouted out to Connelly and she did make eye contact, but was rushed into Roy Thompson Hall for the screening.
Everywhere we went, we were told we 'just missed' someone. Ewan McGreggor, Ann Margaret and Meagan Fox were one step ahead of us every hour.
Friday will be different, as we have an inside scoop on where to be and when. Friday also launches our viewings at the Festival. Watch this thread and the review board for previewed titles.
