We're doing the festival August 8th. If anyone wants to make the trip to NH you are more than welcome to come over and hang. You can stay at my house and I don't mind picking people up at the airport. I know some people live too far to do this, but for some people it might only be a six hour drive or so. The festival is August 8th.

Nekro and I are getting married the day before, so I don't think we'll be making it this year.

So we decided to not do a 100% horror festival for the summer. Mojo said that it took away from the Halloween festival, which makes sense. But here are some suggestions that I sent out to everyone coming. They need to get back to me with their picks. Most of it is based on the film being a new release, but there are some I chose because I've been wanting to watch them on BD.
Public Enemies - Drama/Action
Avatar - Action
Dead Girl - Horror
Showgirls - Drama/Comedy
City of the Living Dead - Horror
Dog Soldiers - Horror
Extract - Comedy
Clash of the Titans Remake - Action/Fantasy
Hot Tub Time Machine - Comedy
Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland - Fantasy
Paranormal Activity - Horror
The Fourth Kind – Horror/Sci-fi
The Collector - Horror
500 Days of Summer - Comedy/Drama
Black Dynamite - Comedy
Murder Set Pieces - Horror
Armored - Action/Thriller
Sorority Row - Horror
Babysitter Wanted - Horror
Funny People - Drama/Comedy
Kick Ass - Comedy

Congrats guys, that's awesome. But let's be serious...do you guys really have your priorities straight? I mean, we might be watching Hot Tub Time Machine...
Anybody's welcome to crash at my place too. KaylaCap and I are looking for someone to finally sleep in our guest bedroom. If you're lucky, I might let you hold my mint condition Kenner Yoda figure. He has an orange snake.
I'm drunk...

Let me get this straight. You are drunk and you want someone to stay at your place and touch your snake? Ummmmm. I'll pass.

Yes and no. The issue is actually we will be leaving for Belize Aug 9th and I don't want to waste that much money on lost airfare if we don't go. Next year BC, next year.

Funny People is an unfunny downer. I would take it off the list. Not the best film to watch with a group that is all psyched for 'the event'

That's a nice list. Funny People does seem out of place.

Funny People is definitely getting axed. No one wants to watch it. I should have a more refined list to post today.

Halloween might also be doable for us. Plus, that is right around Homecoming at UD so we look for an excuse to get out of town.

We are definitely doing a Halloween one and that will be on a Saturday. We might actually need a bigger venue if you guys are coming to this. We'll figure it out in September.
The summer festival is on a Sunday because BC works every Friday and Saturday night. If he misses one of those nights he loses out on $350. It sucks Gamblin Man can't attend, but he was busy the following weekend as well.
BC and Killer Princess haven't see Avatar yet, which is why it's on the list.
Oh and by the way! Damage has decided to make an appearance on the next podcast after the festival. It will be the same format as our 2009 Horror Film Festival podcast, which was pretty popular. If he passes out in my back yard again I'll make sure to put a video up on YouTube.
