1. Michael Jackson

With the death of Michael Jackson, fans are finding new ways to pay tribute to the King of Pop. Expect to see plenty of Michael's moonwalking the streets this October.

2. Harry Potter

Harry Potter is a character that kids and grown-ups alike can relate to. This is an easy costume to complete and immediate recognizable.

3. The Vampire

Before you put together your vampire costume, I bet you already have a good idea of what type of vampire you want to be. There are so many different kids of vampires these days, from Edward and Bella to the classic Dracula look. Sink your teeth into these various vampire tutorials and find out how to get all the juicy looks for cheap. I'll show you everything from making a cape to applying the makeup.

4. Hannah Montana

The Disney Pop Princess is still going strong with the 3rd season of Hannah Montana this year. Miley Cyrus, however, is quickly eclipsing her fictional self as she moves further into the spotlight.

5. Star Trek Costumes

I haven't seen this many ladies in love with Spock since that after hours party at ComiCon. Star Trek is back and the characters are easy to recreate with a few simple Star Fleet uniforms.

I'm thinking you'll see many Twilight characters and Heath Ledger Joker's again. Maybe some Rorschach's too.

The "thriller" Michael Jackson would be much more appropriate for modern times.

Heehee . . . awesome, Moundshroud. A buddy of mine at work showed that to me a couple days ago, said, "I thought of you when I saw this, thought you'd appreciate it."

He was right.

Funny stuff!
