I got one at goodwill thats for computers. It's made by creative labs and it's a 5.1 surround sound system. I built a connector to hook it up to my TV. Now I have my PS3 running to my TV via RGB connectors, the Wii running to the TV via RCA, and my HD cable box to the TV via HDMI. All TV audio runs out through the surround sound. Lots of zip ties were used to make the wiring more managable.

I know all about the zip ties after hooking up hdtv, cable, dvd, wii, ps3, receiver and mounting speakers around the living room...but it's all so worth it, fuck watching movies anywhere but my own habitat.

Isn't that the truth, theater quality picture and sound without the bullshit of having to deal with other people.

Be sure to post in the sound system thread when you pick one up. That thread needs some love.
