The month of August 2010 has come and gone, and I have just recently seen "Prayer to a Vengeful God" -- a film that is at least as good, if not better, than Dan Eberle's last picture, "The Local". Both films are crime dramas to a certain extent... an exploration of the underworld, the drug trade, violent thugs. Lines of good and bad that may not always be clear. Time to get geeky!!! So it has officially begun. THE POSSESSION is moving into production! Picked up producer Gregg Hale from BWI. Drove out to Hagerstown to look at two possible houses for Molly's joint in the movie. This weekend Aug. 27 to 29 I will be a guest at Rue Morgue’s Festival of Fear in Toronto Canada. This is my second time as a guest, my first time I was arrested at the border for my films breaking all the obscenity laws in the great white north. I was found not guilty since it was only a movie and proved that my August Underground films where the most disturbing and realistic portrayal of a serial killer ever captured to date. I'm currently in Massachusetts finishing up MODERNCINÉ's latest film The Woman, based on a script by Lucky McKee and Jack Ketchum. The film stars Pollyanna McIntosh, Sean Bridgers and Angella Bettis. Lucky is also directing the film and he's amazing. He's professional and extremely talented. The film is turning out awesome and I'm super excited for everyone to see it.
