Livin' on a Pr... What Now?

You know what sucks?
What sucks is when you try to relive your past and it totally doesn't live up the the rep that you have had it at.
My example is I was rewatching the Incredible Hulk and the A-Team tv shows on DVD the other day and was totally let down they didn't stand up to my memory of watching them from when I was younger. I think over time I made them somehow better in my head than they really were.

But whtev they are still awesome and who cares what they look like to the older version of me. Stupid republished TV shows on DVD I hate you!

Wait wait that's not all I also hate these old tv and cartoon shows that are being remade into movies. The Hollywood A-Holes are not capturing the essence of the original show. That essence is what people have in their own head and whomever is making these obliviously has no connection with the original series as we the fans of said serials do.
The Transformers movie almost changed my mind until the second one came out. *Here's a hit Mr. Bay for the Third one MORE ROBOT ON ROBOT VIOLENCE that's all we care about really.*

Great blog post Streaker!! I've been wanting to buy the Charles in Charge episodes on DVD for years now, but I'm scared. I bought Doogie Howser a while back and I was slightly disapointed. I could have swarn Wendy had full frontal nudity in almost every episode. Well, starting in season 2 anyways.

Right things always seem better after the fact and some more nudity happens too as you suggested, if only people would make it that awesome the first time.

We usually have a different perspective on tv and movies when we are younger. I had the same experience with the "Rambo" cartoon. I absolutely LOVED that cartoon as a kid and one day in highschool out of boredom, i rented it from Blockbuster and thought "What the fuck is this??"
