Toxic Holocaust - Conjure and Command (2011) relapse records


Toxic holocaust returns from the depths of Portland Oregon’s hell with their latest release Conjure and Command. Picking right up from where there previous release 08’s (An Overdose of Death) left off. On a personal level An Overdose of Death was one of my favorite releases in the last 3 years never leaving the queue on my playlist. Conjure and Command tears your scalp off with only what can be described as a the soundtrack for the EvilDead's Deadites! This anticipated release looks to be living up to its hype and will further solidify frontman Joel Grind as a thrash living legend.

Conjure and Command is Toxic Holocaust's first release to feature a full band in the studio. With Toxic Holocausts 3 previous studio albums; Singer, Songwriter and Founder Joel Grind did it all himself. Recording Guitar , bass, drums, vocals himself and mixing it. Making Joel Grind and Toxic Holocaust one of the hardest working bands in metal! Not only are they touring beasts, their live shows will leave you feeling like you were put though a washing machine filled with nails. On several occasions I have been privileged to be apart of one the most brutal and fastest moving pits I've ever experienced , it will make a p90x work out seem like child’s play when your done.

In the vein of metal legends of likes of Sodom and Motorhead , Toxic Holocaust's Conjure and Command will leave you wanting more! Which is why you should go to there website and purchase all there earlier releases and t-shirts. They deserve your hard earned cash. Don’t get me wrong Conjure and Command does show a sense of Joel Grind's growth. Some cleaner leads on the guitar and all around better mixing you cant go wrong. So if you like your ears being raped by a shredded guitar string. Buy it mother****ers.
