Oh, its been so long since I watched these that I forgot the ultimate insult. The thing that I feel proves Lucas released the unaltered editions just give the middle finger to fans like me (fans who hate the Special Edition edits). The WIDESCREEN version is really 4x3 Letterbox. No one was releasing 4X3 letterbox in 2006. He couldn't even be bothered to make them anamorphic. So on my 55" TV I have to watch Star Wars in a small postcard sized window in the middle of the screen. Fuck George Lucas.
