    Great Show!

It was kinda nice to hear Xander get to speak in stead of arguing with the rest of the hosts! lol

A little let down I was really hoping to hear G-Mo spit out some Harry Potter!

Yeah, I would have liked to hear about Harry Potter as well. I'm not sure why I didn't ask him about it more.

Regarding my mail casket question, I do realize the business side of movies, but the points you were making GregMo did not reflect the same scenerio I was talking about. There is nothing wrong with changing the casting of a character from the original source material (book) as long as they fit the character. I agree with some of those changes you were refering to. Michael Clarke Duncan was perfect as Kingpin. His character had to be big, gruff and menancing, and he was spot on. They never needed Kingpin to be white, just the right actor who could deliver the essence of the character. Jane was already hired and then was fired because Silver wanted a black actor instead. That's where I see the difference.

Xander, hit it right on the head, If Silver wanted a black actor working off of a white actor, then why did he hire Jane in the first place? The movie needs several elements to be successful, and colour of skin is not one of them. Lethal Weapon was not successful because the actors were black and white, but because the chemistry of the actors. That's enough of that! Just an opinion, thats all.

ANYWAYS......I am also glad to hear new voices added to the show. I know that Xander was a last minute replacement, but the change and different opinions was nice. Would like to hear him on the show again.

Butch, you already know my thoughts on Insidious, and I think that maybe you see so many horror movies that, it may have come accross as tame in comparison? I couldn't agree more about the music though. Yeah it was a bit much, espicially the credit sequences at the beginning and the end. I never thought it was the best movie ever, but to me it was the scariest movie in the last 20 yrs.

Another fun show guys and i enjoy this format the most where you guys rundown the lastest movie news and what not. Virtual hugs back! Love ya guys!

See, I didn't find the film to be all that scary, which doesn't really bother me. I just thought it was very unoriginal and really didn't work on several levels. I though the entire third act was almost laughable. I was just surprised by the mass amount of love this film received from the general public. I have a very critical eye when it comes to mainstream movies and I find most of them to have soooo many flaws.

For instance, I just watched the new Adam Sandler movie with Jennifer Aniston. I think it's called "Just Go with It". The entire movie is based on one little white lie that Adam tells a girl he's dating. He goes through the entire movie pretending to have a wife and kids when he could just be honest with the girl and she'd be totally fine with his lie. The reason he lied was so irrelevant. It's such lazy filmmaking IMO. And it always surprises me when so many people are fine with mediocre entertainment. But I know I watch movies differently than most people. I get that.

It's sort of the same thing when I listen to music. I hear songs all the time that only consist of three or four chords over and over and over. No solos, no interesting arrangements, no harmonies. That is so boring to me.

I think Insidious is the type of movie you needed to see in theaters. It was so creepy with so many disturbing images and loud music, seeing it on the big screen really makes a difference. I did enjoy watching it on Bluray but my experience in theaters was much better.

You're right because Paranormal Activity was way better in theaters. It's all about the sound.

AND ITSSS OUTTTTTTTAAAAA HERE!!! You guys knocked it out of the park again. I really didnt care for Insidious ether didnt see what the must see factor was with this one. I get it with mainstream lets see a random movie friday night crowd, but not for us horror fans. Very bland and tame in my opinion, but what the hell do I know. Really liked the show though all and all lol. Never knew xander was a sex maniac but guess hearing him with the all my heroes guys makes him seem tame.
