    Default Favorite Magazine!

My magazines are totally beat and I need some suggestions. What is everyone else reading?

Being in Iraq, I have access to a limited selection, but I read Small Arms Review, Game Informer, and I have my family send me copies of the Tattoo magazines (Tattoo, Savage, and Flash).

I'd say it is. PSN magazine is the next thing to garbage, or I would probably choose it since I have a PS3 and not a 360.

    Gardening and Fishing.

No. I'm need some new movie/entertainment magazines. I was getting Wired magazine, which is a good magazibe, but it's a little too in depth for me. I'm thinking maybe Entertainment Weekly.

I subscribe to EW. I look forward to perusing it whilst sitting on the Throne when it arrives every Friday afternoon.

There's lots of fluff and lists and whatnot (this week is a vampire issue, including their pick of the greatest screen vampires). Last week they had an interesting article on the shifting demographics of horror movie fans - seems like the predominant audience for horror flicks is no longer teen males but somewhat older females.

And in the past they've had some surprisingly fascinating articles on cinema history, such as the conflict between Orson Welles and RKO over The Magnificent Ambersons (which effectively killed his film career and nearly bankrupt the studio) and the story behind the notoriously bad horror movie Manos: The Hands of Fate (a film so bad, even the MST3K crew were left stunned upon first viewing).

I have subscriptions to both Rue Morgue & Horrorhound, I love both of which although my favorite is certainly the latter.
