A few episodes back, (not sure which one) Tyler mentioned Sing Sing Prison. He wanted to know if the prison was real or just part of whatever he was watching. Sing Sing is real and is located in Ossining, New York. I live about 20 mins away from there. It's also not that far from Sleepy Hollow NY, where I once lived. Anyway, Sing Sing used to execute their prisoners. Serial Killer Albert Fish was executed in Sing Sing back in '36 or '37. The murder he was executed for was for a young girl named Grace Budd. He took her from the city, promising her parents that he'd be taking her to his neice's b-day party. He then brought her to Westchester county NY and murdered her. The house where he commited the crimes was abandoned at the time. Wisteria cottage was the name. The house now looks a lot different than what it did back in the 30's. Right now it's for sale.
Fish was a sick and depraved individual. Probably one of the worst I've read about. There is a great book written about his crimes called, Depraved by Harold Schechter. There's also a film about him but it's not that great in my opinion.
There is 2 films on Fish and i believe one of them is docudrama style. That dude was insane!

Did the Killer Clown have some help?

Does anyone happen to know/remember a serial killer from Long Island (I think), not the new one, but this I believe was back in the 60s, or 70s. I remember watching a trailer for a documentary about him, and he was supposed to be part of an urban legend. My mind's kind of foggy, but after a mental asylum/home closed a lot of folks were left with nowhere to go, and he was one of them.
Dawnkatdead----the name of the doc is cropsey---I watched it for free on HULU....Not bad....
