I just started this on Sunday and i was suprised that its really not that bad of a game. I tested out the demo right before ME3 came out for the bonus armor if you finished the demo and i couldnt get through, but playing the retail version i was suprisingly pleased with what ive been playing. The story is a rather bland and its hard to care for what your being told. The combat isnt overly complicated, im playing on pc, left mouse button for melee and right mouse for magic. Being a one button combat system its easy to get caught up with the button smashing but there are combos and power attacks that can be accomplished with only using the one button, ie attack, pause for a quick moment and attack for a wicked pop-up combo.
The visuals on the game are quite lovely, everything is very colorful, even the depressing death pits in the beginning of the game looked crisp and lively for being filled with piles of corpses.
Im only a couple hrs in the game at the moment but so i got quite a ways to go, but if you got the time check out the or just do like me and dive right into the retail, its a good time
