While I dont agree that it's the best flick of the year so far, I do agree that its good. It should be seen in the theater.

I don't feel you guys on Cash back at all, the dude must have had a real ability to stop time since he saw someone else who could do it in the diner. Overall its a a decent but forgettable flick. I am only half way through the pod though.

JEEEEEEEEESUS! Dudes, I'm only 33 mins in and I had to comment. I am surprised at you Brainchomper! For a guy that likes soundtracks with only music and melody, I find it funny that you don't appriciate musicals. You tried so hard to find a "gay" or "gospell" type of song. Every song was like "ok, lets hear this next one, this one is ganna be bad." Yes it's ok to have an opinion, but be open minded. Rock Of Ages looks fantastic and its main selling points is that the music is not only rock music, but they sing the songs the way they were remembered. Its supposed to be a celebration of rock music. This production was not meant to dumb down this music.

I am actually floored by the singing of Tom Cruise! I cannot believe that is actually him on that recording. Is there anything this guy can't do? Cannot wait to see Rock Of Ages. Looks like a blast!

Good call on the movie "Cashback". I caught it last year and thought it was very good too. I, like you, was drawn in by the cover but after I read the description - I was hooked.

I was also very disappointed in Prometheus. I really wanted to like it but it totally missed the mark for me. My fear is that they are going to drag this into a 3 movie prequel. That could take years......

You need to understand, this is something fresh and a trilogy. If he would have done a singular 4 hour movie everyone would complain.

From the leaked script I had read, there are a terrorist cell of space jockeys who want to destroy any species that almost match their own (mankind) and its not them as a whole.

I think this was marketed wrongly and misleading, but you shouldnt judge this as a standalone movie without merit.
