    Default Red Dead Redemption 2

If and when there is a sequel for this very addictive game, what things would you like to see? What changes? Personally, it pisses me off when you are being chased by cops and your horse gets tired and bucks you off! I wish they didn't do that next time. Yes, its more realistic, but a pain in the ass!! I enjoy the co- op missions, I would like to see more of those, and finally it would be cool to make the game a prequel to the original, where Marston is riding with his old gang.

As far as changes, I'd get rid of things like gathering herbs til your blue in the face. I'd make it more like recipes where you need to get x number of certain herbs to create certain potions. Hunting was pretty badass, I would make it a bit more prevalent, like it was back in those times. I'd add bounty hunters, in addition to cops, who hunt you down when you have a bounty on your head. If it'd be a prequel, I'd like to see Dutch's gang and their interactions with other gangs and the government.

I have been hating this! I am stuck on survivalist rank 10 for awhile now. I have all ten snowdrops and four of everything ( and you only need 2!) else and still it doesn't say i achieved the challenge. Its fraustrating!

Yeah, it took me MONTHS to get that one. I'm still struggling to get some of the costumes and I bought the game Day 1.

I enjoyed the game. I pulled a weekend off and sat playing through til the end. I finished all but 1 achievement. The herb collecting got a but annoying, but i thoroughly enjoyed the game as a whole.

I wouldn't expect to see a sequel for at least another year. Rockstar has GTA 5 to deal with first.

Won't see another Red Dead for quite some time. Shame, because I loved that one.

Give me a GOTY edition for PC with all the bells n whistles and that would do me fine. Get lots of mods and custom stories for free then.
My favourite sexual position is the magician. I take a girl from the street, screw her, saw her in half and then make her disappear.

I don't like the gathering but what I hate even more is the GTA style way of having to drive or ride across the map to the next location. I like open world but the main story should be fluid. That would also leave room for more content because you're slowly going forward instead of back and forth.

but the open world is what defines the sandbox genre of games....besides most open world sandbox games have quick travel so you dont have to slowly trudge across the landscape.
and the whole point of these open world games is that they are filled with content, skyrim for example you can wasted 100hrs just exploring or blast through the main story in a day or two. same concept goes into every sandbox game, both gta and red dead had a main story but there were optional side objectives that filled the game with additional optional content plus multiplayer, which literally account for 100s of additional hours of game play on a game that already takes near 20hrs plus the side content...not to mention, at the very least, all of the games i mentioned have or will be getting new dlc to continue your gaming experience and provide even more content.
i dont exactly understand what you mean by open world games needing fluid stories....because as far as i know its usually up to the player to keep to follow the story line or run around exploring, which only makes the story as fluid as you want it to be

Sounds like you would love max payne 3...its a linear story driven game that takes you from point A to point B with little to no deviation from the main story, asides from looking for collectibles in side rooms.

This just made me think of another idea that would be good. In most missions you have to travel with your horse a great distance to get to your destination. Unless the actual traveling is apart of the mission, you should have the opportunity to skip the riding at warp to your destination. I found too much travel time made me bored and took me out of the game. It would be nice if the sequel could at least give you an option to skip traveling if you want to. You can only skip travel if you go on the horse and buggy taxi, when not in on a mission but that's it.

You can skip travelling, but you have to have discovered the location first. It's the campsite thing in Single Player. You can't do it in multiplayer.
