Miami Heat finished off the Thunder last night to crown King James with his first NBA title. It took 9 years but he got.
I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Easy the best player in the NBA. Carried his team all year and fully deserving of his championship ring.
If the "best player in the league" needs a recent Finals MVP and a power forward that use to be the #1 option until he jumped shipped to join the biggest farce in NBA history to win a ring the NBA is screwed. The "best player in the league" competes against other champions, he doesn't join forces with them.

I'm not saying by yourself but a true champion leads role players to play above their own abilities. Scottie Pippen is a great 2nd option but when he moved on from the Bulls he couldn't get it done. Isiah Thomas orchestrated the bad boys and Steve Nash improves player stats wherever he goes. A true champion is a leader and that's why Kobe will NEVER get as much respect as other Hall of Famer's, if you look at any of Kobe's championships they all happened when he was accompanied by dominant centers. After Shaq left he didn't win another championship until they stacked the team again.
