Default Episode 22:There Wolf, There Castle (The Werewolf Show)

After a long hiatus from our normal show Magoo, Alex and Newty are back and better then ever! This week we are going to be discussing one of our favorite sub genres...WEREWOLVES! We do a run down of news and what we been watching and we start our transformation at ( 1:17:00) and talk about a ton of movies. We tried something different so I would love to hear some feedback on what you guys think of the clips I added in during our discussion. Speaking of feedback this week we get voicemails from Grey and Android Virus! If you like our commentary podcast check out our new feed over at Horrorphilla the NFW Podcast!! Lastly a Big thank you to Gronith of designing our new logo! Check out his work at theartofgronith.wordpress.com. Great show - I really like the clips between the segments. I actually got a bit upset when I first looked at my screen and saw that it was only a little over an hour long. Then, I realized that it was broken up into chapters, whew.....almost broke into a sweat, lol. Enjoyed the talk about the werewolf movies, I can give you some words about the Twilight movies, they aren't great movies and the cgi wolves are pretty shitty. There, done. The Underworld movies are some of my favorites - I love action/horror. Will come back later to leave more - am getting dirty looks from the hubby. later guys.

Ok - I'm back - the Underworld movies are some of my favorites, Kate Beckinsale is a badass in black leather and Scott Speedman isn't too shabby either. I love the idea of this great war that is going on between the vampires and lycan right below the human's feet. The Death Dealers are awesome and I think that it's cool that they have modernized the ways that vamps/lycans can be killed. Silver nitrate tear gas and the UV bullets. The action in these movies is pretty awesome and the effects are great. I love the look of hybrid Michael with the blue skin and having the best of both vamps/lycans. They are some pretty awesome examples of how action/horror is great. Well, I guess that's all for now. Left you guys a voicemail as well which wasn't too long but at least I called, right?
    Later bitches!!

Steve - I haven't watched the 3rd one b/c it didn't have Kate Beckinsale in it...the 4th one was awesome! I just wasn't that interested in the prequel but guess I probably should watch it sometime, lol!
