Just like H2, I will defend the Nightmare remake to my dying day. I've seen it several times now and own it on BluRay. I think it is suspenseful and tense the way the first was. It has flaws (ALL the victims' weak acting) but I think it is a solid entry in the series. Jason goes to Hell is a misstep in the series but nowhere near as bad as the Hellraiser sequels after PART 4. They really loose sight of the core idea at that point!

All those films are horrible. I'd say H2 is most disappointing because it was a big budget sequel to a pretty good part 1. Hellraiser 3 was shit so I would have said all Hellraiser's after 2. By the time Jason Goes to Hell came out we were used to bad Friday the 13th films.

Gotta go with the crap that is Hellraiser. 1 and 2 were cool but weird, 3 was awesome, 4 was meh, and it just goes downhill from there.

I'm sorry, there is just no way to defend H2. I can sit and argue about the Nightmare remake simply for the fact that NOES is my favorite series and I feel that there were some really good parts to the film (minus Rooney Mara - blech). Jason Goes to Hell was pretty stupid but still watchable as well as the movies after Hellraiser 3. Yeah, they suck but I was able to laugh my way through them. NO such luck with H2. I will grant you that the beginning of that movie was cool but as soon as it turned into a dream sequence, I was done. I think I sat through the rest of the movie with my mouth open thinking, "What the hell has he done?" But then again, I'm not a RZ fan so everything that I just said should be taken with a grain of salt.

Hellraiser movies after 3. I'm one of the defenders of H2, Jason Goes To Hell is not a good Friday movie, but enjoyable slasher movie. Nightmare remake, I'm liking less the more I think about it, but Haley did a decent job. Hellraiser sequels though, no way I'm defending those. Just basic horror movies where they inserted the cenobites and the box and called it a Hellraiser movie. Plus making Pinhead a slasher in Hellworld, WTF?
