Breaking News : Shooting at The Dark Knight Rises
I heard this just this morning and want to know what the hell is wrong with people to do shit like this?!
(CBS/AP) AURORA, Colo. - At least 14 people were killed and dozens more injured by a gunmen who allegedly began his attack on Denver area movie-goers by hurling tear gas into the crowd at a Batman "The Dark Knight Rises" premiere around midnight on Thursday, police say.
Aurora police chief Dan Oats confirmed the death toll of at least 14, saying a total of about 50 people had been shot. It wasn't clear if the fatalities were included in the casualty count of 50. The victims were from a broad range of ages.
Oats said one suspect, found outside the theater after the shooting, near the parking lot, had been taken into in custody. He said there were no other suspects being sought.
Oats said a gas mask and at least one rifle and a handgun were found on the suspect. Oats said the suspect informed officers that he had explosives in his home, which was in the local area. There was no suggestion of links to international terrorism.

I think the most disturbing part is a 6 year old is dead and the shooter must have known when to shoot. They say he started firing during a gunfight in the movie to confuse more people.

Right now they are reporting that there are 12 confirmed dead. 14 was the original number given by police. A 3 month old was also injured. I've lost my faith in the majority of society.

Same here. My husband was working on the other side of the highway last night. I'll have to ask him when he wakes up if he heard about it, or saw anything. He got off at midnight so it is possible. There's a reason why I never liked going to Aurora. The entire area is just bad. But this takes the cake
This is so heart breaking.
They just cancelled the Paris red carpet premiere of The Dark Knight Rises today. Stars will not be attending as it is deemed inappropriate at this time.
