Default This sums up my feelings towards the NHL at the moment

    Dear NHL,

Well, here we go again. Not satisfied with a mere two lockouts on Gary Bettman's resume, all signs are pointing to the illustrious threepeat. I totally understand. Why settle for mediocrity? No need to stop at killing one-and-a-half seasons when there's an opportunity there to go for lockout #3. Seize the day, league; this might be your big chance to improve your status as the 6th most popular sport in the US! Think big.

I LOVE the sport. But I can't do another lockout listening to both sides crying poor. I would boycott watching or going to any games this year if this isn't worked out by the START of the regular season.

I hear ya, Gregmo. I'm so tired of NFL, NHL, NBA, etc lockouts. I realize that entertainment costs, but it all seems like a bunch of money grabassery.

If hockey does go into a holding patern, say good-bye to Florida. Say good-bye to Columbus. Say good-bye Phoenix.

I don't even think the players understand that if they don't compromise - again - teams will contract.

It sounds like its on the NHL's end, not the player's end this time. I just wish they'd open their eyes and realize that a lockout doesn't help anybody, just hurt the sport.

Thank God I have some local shit to watch! I'm with you guys, i hate this lockout shit. ECHL is my local games and we just got to watch the new prospects try out for free Saturday. If the NHL lockouts again, I guess I will go see more Toledo Walleye. We already purchased our Sunday game package. (because those are the only games we know for sure we won't be working at the time to see live.)

At least the owners submitted ONE proposal. Nothing from the players yet.
