Wes Craven Confirmed for Scream 4?
Wes Craven Confirmed for Scream 4?

For the past couple months we have heard plenty of speculation and rumors about a possible Scream 4. Then it became much more than just rumor when Kevin Williamson began talking about the script he was actually working on the script and actors began coming forward. Today it appears that LA Times may have spilled the beans that Wes Craven is indeed getting behind the helm.
Basically they did a kind of biography on Craven and at the end they wrote: Craven recently finished “My Soul to Take,” which is scheduled for release sometime this year. And in May, he starts on “Scream 4.”
So is this a confirmation or just an assumption based on all of the talk about him coming back? One would believe that it is an unofficial confirmation that Wes Craven says he is going to do it but hasn't signed anything yet.
I don't want to be a downer, but Wes Craven sucks

The remakes of Last House and Hills have Eyes are faaaar superiour to the originals, and People under the stairs....seriously you wanna bring that up, we'll just file that under Shocker!

I haven't seen the Scream movies in a long ass time, I'll have to check those out again, but yeah... I don't have any problems with Wes Craven, I know a lot of people hate him for whatever reasons but I have nothing against the guy.
It's been a while since I've seen PUTS, but I know it's not as awful as Shocker.
I completely disagree on you 'remake > original' stance as well.

Have you see the orginal and the Remakes of Last house or The Hills have eyes. There is no comparison
