Honestly, we don’t know where Jennifer Lawrence will find the time. Hot off the heels of the mondo-successful The Hunter Games, Lawrence has a full slate of films on her contractual resume.
And now, we can add one more. Heat Vision is reporting that a sequel to the critically well received X-Men: First Class will begin shooting in January 2013 (Lawrence will shoot The Hunger Games sequel – Catching Fire – first). Lawrence played Raven/Mystique in X-Men: First Class, a character played by Rebecca Romijim in the first three X-Men films which began back in 2000.
X-Men: First Class was directed by Matthew Vaughn and went on to gross over $350 million in combined domestic and international box office tallies.
No word yet whether Vaughn will return for the sequel, but we recall earlier interviews where he expressed great interest in continuing the story and the success of the first film would make the studio want to bring him back if he was so interested.
