Luke Evans and Gina Carano set to join Fast & Furious 6

Thanks to the surprising success of last years Fast Five, there are some expectations for the green-lit sixth installment of The Fast and the Furious franchise. And with expectations, comes rumors and we have the first few scoops.
Luke Evans, an actor who you may have seen in Immortals or The Raven is being offered the role as the baddie in The Fast and The Furious 6 (we have reason to think it might be titled simply FF6). Evans is not yet a household name, but he will be seen in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit and the role offered to him in FF6 is the same role turned down by Jason Statham.
The second rumor is that Gina Carano, the star of last years Haywire, has also been offered a role.
If all comes to bear, then Evans and Carano will join Michelle Rodriguez, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson in the Justin Lin directed effort expected in May 2013.
