Just when you thought there were no Stephen King books that had yet to be made into a feature film or television mini-series, here comes news that Dead Rabbit Film’s is producing an adaption of The Ten O’Clock People.
Director Tom Holland (Child’s Play) will call the shots from behind the camera. This will mark the third time that Holland has directed a King effort having also been behind Thinner and The Langoliers.
For those of you unfamiliar with The Ten O’Clock People, it was a short story appearing in the Nightmares and Dreamscapes collection and follows the story of Brandon Pearson who tries to quick smoking only to uncover “a frightening aspect of reality he plans to extinguish through extreme measures.”
The Ten O’Clock People will be the second Stephen King adaptation expected out in 2013 with a remake of Carrie already in production.
