For the three people in the world that enjoyed the 3D conversion of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, we have some good news. The official Star Wars Facebook page has revealed that the next two films in the series, Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith will both be released within a few weeks of each other in 2013.
Attack of the Clones will have it’s theatrical 3D release on September 20th 2013 and Revenge of the Sith will follow closely opening on October 11, 2013.
We can then expect for the last three episodes – A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi – to hit theatres likely in 2014 and 2015.
The Phantom Menace was actually able to rip $44 million out of our domestic wallets when released in 2012 and is considered the weakest film in the series.
