One of America`s most notorious serial killers was Wisconsin`s Jeffrey Dahmer, whose exploits include killing and dismembering 15 boys and storing their body parts in his freezer. Dahmer, in turn, was later murdered by an inmate during his incarceration. Jeremy Renner stars in this biographical drama that humanizes the killer to a surprising degree and explores the mental state that causes one to go to such extremes.

I love studying serial killers mind. What makes them ticks, and act the way they do. Dahmer is one I love studying but this film was not supposed to be made. Its more like why was this movie made. The script was not accurate to his life events. Is it supposed to be soft gay porn? If you want to see a good Dahmer film, I suggest “Jeffrey Dahmer - The Secret Life” if you can still find it. Alternatively, just read about him. Just stay away from this movie unless you like soft gay porn have fun.

DAHMER is a tepid bio-pic based upon on of America`s most infamous serial killers. A plethora of D.T.V. movies hit the video stores during the early 2000`s. Some are decent but most of them were pretty mundane. This one tries to be realistic but it`s pretty well "gay". If you`re the kind of person who likes the background dramatic aspect of a person`s life, then you`ll love this movie. But if you`re expecting a slasher film then look elsewhere. But be forewarned, you must realize that Mr. Dahmer lived an "alternative" lifestyle. Don`t cry home to momma when you realize this after the first few minutes of the film have passed. Do a little research on this sick and twisted dude.
